Gummie Land
We shall start with the Highland Forest, a little misleading. The highland is more for the northern elevation than to say it is at a high altitudes. This forest is part of the Great Forest of the north where the Blue Gummie Bears live. However, the Highland Forest lies in Green Gummie territory. The north and west side of the territory is mostly cliffs meeting the water. The south is gentle rolling lands with beaches on Vanco bay. The Green Gummie territory is rules by Queen Martha Zoie from the village of Lauraindale at the end of the Kings Road. The Green Gummies are mostly known for ship building The ship yards are on the south side of Grimondale. The queen has a small royal fleet, however, most of the ships on the water are for fishing. At the border of the Green Gummie Territories and the Blue Realm, high in the hills is Tempa. It was the original meeting place when the gummies were new to the land. This is where all the leaders of the gummies gathered to negotiate where they would live. Just east of Tempa is the Blue Realm. The land of the Blue Gummie Bears. They tend to keep in the norther forest. The Blue Realm is ruled by King and Queen Hipstan. There is only one common village, Alyahten, in the Blue Realm. Although, the Blue Gummies live throughout the norther forest. The Blue Gummies are know for their wood craft skills. They build most of the wagon and carriages in the lands. The Red Gummie Bear Lands spread from the Northern Sea, into the north eastern parts of the Great Forest. Down to the base of Mount Akbar and to the Northern Mountains to the east. There are also two main villages in The Red Lands, Chara to the west and Perna to the east at the base of the Northern Mountains. The Red Royal family is in name only. They have lost most all their influence to the Trades Guild. The Red Gummie Bears are known for their Metal Craft and Blacksmithing. East, over the Norther Mountains, lies the Yellow Gummie Bear Land. It is occupied mostly with small villages and the gummies live simple lives here. There in no formal government in the yellow lands. They rule by elected council, when necessary, or when representation is needed with another gummie clan. Just west of Mount Akbar is the Gumdrop Kingdom. In the early days, the gumdrops were very social. They helped create the great gathering of the gummie council at Tempa. They were the major influence in building The Kings Road as well as establishing Gumdrop Castle as the main trading post for all the lands. They protected and maintained The Kings Road for generations. However, as of late, the gumdrops have locked their doors to outsiders. Rare to be seen at all. Once what was the largest trading post in the land, now is beginning to look like an abandoned dark castle. Traveler on The Kings Road now swing wide and hopefully out of view of the castle, not wanting to disturb the occupants. To the south-west of Gumdrop Castle, west of The Deep and in between two rivers lies the Fields of Orange. This is the Orange Gummie Bears Lands. The Orange Gummies have one main village, Collumdale, that they gather at for trading, news, and entertainment. Otherwise, most live in small rural farms or ranches. To the west of Collumdale are the plains, the northern pasture are mostly ranch lands that turn wild as you get closer to the sea. To the south, this is all under the rule of the worms. Then, there is “The Deep”, a huge inland lake just to the east. Fed by mountain runoff, two rivers breakout of the lake. To the north, The Metineve River. The Northern branch reaches all the way to the sea. Its southern branch feeds the fields that the Orange Gummie Bears tend over. The second river to breakout of the lake is Holden Falls, Holden River. The falls attracts travelers, the road up the side has been worn in, wide enough for two wagons to pass. This is the part of The Kings Road that leads through the mountains to the Purple Gummies lands. The Holden River also forks into two branches. The northern branch feed the fields just as the south Metineve does. The southern branch does flow to the sea in the rainy seasons, but more accurately feeds in to the marshes that separate the gummie lands from something in the south. Through the pass is where the Purple Gummie Bears live. They have no villages being a nomadic people. They move north and south depending on the season, sometimes to a new location, sometimes to an old. The tribes, although they can be quite spread out all answer to the chief. Disputes are settle by a circle of elders. Much of the rope on the Green Queens fleet originated with the Purples. They are also know to be excellent horse trainers. And then the last, or shall we say the lost, the pink gummie bear tribe and their white queen.
